Archie and I are so excited to show you our newest yarn painting!
It was inspired by a photo Fred took of him last week!
As soon as I saw what Fred captured, I knew I had to get out my yarn and glue and start creating! :)

Here is a detailed tutorial of how I create yarn paintings and all of the materials you will need to create your own.
Anyone of any age can make them!
They are so fun & easy to do!
For the purposes of going with the flow of how this piece came together, I will now show you all of the photos I took during the fun process of cutting the yarn and gluing it onto the photo of Archie.
Now it is time to cut little circle out of white craft felt to glue into the eyes to bring him to life!
If you remember, I tried something new in the last yarn painting that I did of Archie by adding hearts to the background.
That was so much fun, that I decided to try something new again by choosing a citrus tweed varigated yarn for the background instead of a solid color.
Ta Da!
I just love how it turned out!
Like all of my other yarn paintings, this one is now available in my Etsy Shop as note cards and a signed print for you to enjoy. :)
Please let me know if you make a yarn painting too! I would love to see!
