Summer Dog Treat Recipe ~ Frozen Poochie Pies



Hi everyone!


Happy May 31st!

Cousin Moe and Archie are so excited to bring you a new favorite Summertime recipe today!


Frozen Poochie Pies

I N G R E D I E N T S:

2 cups dog cookies
½ cup cheerios
1 egg
¼ cup Greek plain yogurt
Handful frozen blueberries

I N S T R U C T I O N S:

Preheat oven 350 degrees

Pulse dog cookies and cheerios in food processor into crumbs.

Mix with 1 egg until it forms a wet paste.

Take a small ball and squish it forming a thumbprint in the center into greased mini muffin pan to form the shell.

Bake the pie crusts at 350 degrees for 12 minutes or until lightly brown.

Let pie crusts cool completely.

Scoop a dollop of yogurt into each pie crust.

Top each pie with a frozen blueberry.

Place in freezer and serve cold.

Makes 7-9 mini frozen pies.

  2. Those treats look delicious, Archie! Momma hasn't made me any treats yet so maybe I will have her make these.

    Puglet posted a no cream treat on his blog last week that looks yummy, too, so go check it out. It's getting so hot here that I may need an entire freezer full of frozen treats.
