Happy Friday everyone!
Yesterday, I showed you the neat stuff Melanie and I made in our first art class of the year ~
Get Loose and Make Art!
Our teacher, Shelley Goddard, had us make blind doodles to get our creative juices flowing.
Little did she know that is my favorite thing to do! :)
I closed my eyes and visualized my favorite thing in the whole world ~ Pugs! :)
I drew the two above right next to each other in about 20 seconds, and I loved them so much that I put them in my notebook to take home and color in with my inktense watercolor pencils.
What fun things are you doing this weekend?
Please leave me a note and let me know!
I would love to hear all about it!

These are very cute! We are still painting on our house to get it ready to put it on the market. It was fun at first, but we are ready to be finished and get back to normal.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend.
Your eyes-closed doodles are so good - the Momster can't draw anything with them open, wonder what she could come up with if she just didn't look:)
ReplyDeletewe are hoping for a sunny and dry weekend and some good walks. Hope you enjoy yours.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, and Ciara
Unbelievable that you can draw that good with your eyes closed! Have a fun weekend!
ReplyDeleteMy goal with art is always simplicity, and I love that these doodles are so simple but so sweet and charming, too!
ReplyDeleteThis weekend the puggies and I are recovering from a hectic week of midterms by knitting, making new brooches and earrings, and writing poetry. JD and Ringo also think that it's about time that I made them some of their favorite granola, so it looks like we'll be doing that, too!
