Happy Friday everyone!Melanie and I had the most wonderful time at the Berry Patch picking farm last weekend!
We picked tons of strawberries and raspberries on a beautiful late summer morning!How fun!
Fred came too with his camera and took all of these wonderful photos!
I brought my little camera too and captured this huge piggy!
He reminded me of Emmitt!

That looks like lots of fun! We will be going pumpkin and apple picking in a week or so. Both farms are about a ninety minute drive, but totally worth the trip. Unfortunately, dogs are not allowed so Pip misses all the fun.

OMD, look at that pig - he is huge!!! How lucky to be able to pick fresh strawberries and this late in the season too. We are hoping Mom is going apple picking in a couple of weeks. Happy weekend.

ReplyDeleteThe berries do look yummy! We have a place across the river in Indiana called Huber Farms - it is great all year round for just about picking anything that is in season!

ReplyDeleteMom and Holden go to Spencer's Berry Farm near our house, but mom saw a SNAKE there last year when they were picking blueberries so she's kind of over it for now.

Oh my that is a HUGE piggy! He was so cute waggin his tail so fast!
ReplyDeleteWe used to go to Michigan by relatives there and they'd all go strawberry picking and then we'd clean them when they got back. Of course cleaning also meant eating some! We picked wild blueberries in Hickory Run State Park in PA. They were yummy, too! You're lucky to have something like the Berry Patch close by. We've got apple orchards in Indiana, but I think I'd probably pick more apples than I could use! Thanks for sharing your pictures and have a great weekend!

Looky all that fruit! We have our own strawberry patch, but we if want something bigger, we only go a few mikes away. Black berries are growing everywhere. Mommy and I go for walkies and pick berrys. I love to smooch them in my mouth.
Raspberry field are everywhere too.

ReplyDeleteMommy picked some blackberries but they were only in our backyard and they attacked her so she came back with all kinds of splinters in her hands. :o( But strawberries look much nicer.
About that pig...hey!!!!! Mom always says it's hard to tell if we're puggies or piggies. Sheesh. We don't get it. Do you Emmitt?
