Pinch Pots and Pugs!

Hi everyone!

I am so excited to show you the little pottery pieces Melanie and I made at Mudslinger's Pottery Studio.

We had so much fun!
Of course, I had to make another pug to add to my collection. :)

Now I have 4!

Melanie made these wonderful ornaments.
I think she is a natural potter. Her glazing skills are wonderful.

After making my pug statue, I starting making little pinch pots.
I felt like a kid at summer camp.
Now they are in my office holding my little owl dolls I made from scraps of fabric
and ...

and a voodoo doll from my friend Leann.

Making any kind of art makes me happy!

Emmitt says eating always makes him happy!

What is your favorite thing to do that makes you smile?
Please leave us a note and let us know.
Have a wonderful day everyone!

  3. How cute, love those pinch pots. Phantom's favorite thing to do is sleep in the sun. TD loves to eat and go outside in the rain. And Ciara loves everything. We are all different.

  6. The pugs are adorable. Will you make some your Etsy shop? I love the blue pinch pot. No, I don't make anything like that but I do like to cook, no baking either like pies or cakes. You are one talented pug lover!

  10. Cute stuff! I especially love the puggies. This reminds me of the "vase" my aunt made when she was younger, it looks kind of like those pinch pots but no sides. LOL! It is a perfect "vase"... haha.
I love doing crafty things too, but I am not nearly as talented as you are!

  14. Those pugs are so cute! I also love the blue pot!

The thing that makes me smile is scrapbooking and putting a publication together (well sometimes that makes me smile).
