A Peek into my Pug Art Collection...

Happy Thursday everyone!
I love to collect Pug Art of all kinds.
Over the years, I have built quite a collection.
I love looking at each piece and knowing the story of where it came from and how it came to live with me.
The pottery Pug above is one of my favorites. I found it in a gallery in Florida in 2000, and I can honestly say it was the highlight of my trip. :)

This little pug is a needle felted wool sculpture that I put in this wool felt bowl.
The two pieces are made by different hands, but I think are perfect together.

This little cutie was just given to me as a gift. I just love the expression and detail of this doll.

He keeps me company in my sewing room. :)

...and this little Pirate Pug has a parrot that looks like Gilbert on his shoulder!
How perfect is that?

Melanie knows how much I love to collect children's books with pugs in the story!
Look at the 3 by Lauren Darr that she just surprised me with!
I am in heaven!

What are some of your favorite things to collect?
Please leave us a note and let us know!

  8. I adore them all. Can't decide which one I like best..the pirate? pug on the world (that's what it looks like to me, the world) or the adorable little felted one!

I haven't been as lucky in finding pug things, but we have a huge collection of bulldogs. :o)

  9. It is always fun to see what other Pug lovers collect! I LOVE the felted Pug! I imagine your collection is much bigger than that? I think it might take me a week to show all my stuff! Some might call me a Pug stuff hoarder?

  15. Oh I LOVE the books. When I get a human brother or sister, I'll have to get some to read to him/her.

I've been collecting stuffies, and in my two short human years, I have accumulated about a hundred.

My Mommy has a new/her own baking kitchen. She's going to use it to make homemade and healthy pug treats (it's her hobby). She wants to decorate it in Pugs so that it's a true Pug Bakery. Needless to say, she's going to start collecting Pug stuff. So far she has a hand towel, pot holder, bowl, cup, and magnets.
