I love to collect Pug Art of all kinds.
Over the years, I have built quite a collection.
I love looking at each piece and knowing the story of where it came from and how it came to live with me.
The pottery Pug above is one of my favorites. I found it in a gallery in Florida in 2000, and I can honestly say it was the highlight of my trip. :)
The two pieces are made by different hands, but I think are perfect together.
This little cutie was just given to me as a gift. I just love the expression and detail of this doll.
He keeps me company in my sewing room. :)
How perfect is that?
Look at the 3 by Lauren Darr that she just surprised me with!
I am in heaven!

ReplyDeleteHi Melissa,
ReplyDeleteI love your pug art. I collect a lot of stuff like that too, including an obsession with Flamingos.
Oh, and thanks a lot for displaying those adorable Pug prints and stuff on your blog. Now I have an itchy trigger finger on your Etsy site! LOL!
One more 'Oh'.. Thanks for the little note cards! I loved getting your card in the mail. I use those tags for bookmarks. They're wonderful!

I adore them all. Can't decide which one I like best..the pirate? pug on the world (that's what it looks like to me, the world) or the adorable little felted one!
ReplyDeleteI haven't been as lucky in finding pug things, but we have a huge collection of bulldogs. :o)
It is always fun to see what other Pug lovers collect! I LOVE the felted Pug! I imagine your collection is much bigger than that? I think it might take me a week to show all my stuff! Some might call me a Pug stuff hoarder?

Punchy

Adorable pugness in your collection, Melissa! I collect cats (of course), and I have an angel collection from when I was younger. And beanie babies, and bears (too much stuff)!
ReplyDeleteArrrrrgggggg!!!The pirate pug is awesome!
ReplyDeleteOh I LOVE the books. When I get a human brother or sister, I'll have to get some to read to him/her.
ReplyDeleteI've been collecting stuffies, and in my two short human years, I have accumulated about a hundred.
My Mommy has a new/her own baking kitchen. She's going to use it to make homemade and healthy pug treats (it's her hobby). She wants to decorate it in Pugs so that it's a true Pug Bakery. Needless to say, she's going to start collecting Pug stuff. So far she has a hand towel, pot holder, bowl, cup, and magnets.
Omg, Melissa! You have such a great collection. I can't even pick a favorite thing because I love everything!!
ReplyDeleteAll are so cute! I have pug shaped mirrors, pug figurines, stuffed pugs, pug magnets, 14k gold pug charm on a necklace, pug painting that looks like needlepoint, pug ornaments, pug books. I love my pug stuff!
ReplyDeleteWe love the total collection too.
ReplyDeleteWe cannot decide on a favorite.
But I sure would like to read those stories.
