Happy Friday everyone!Emmitt here!
I have a nifty trick to share with you that gets me not only a wonderful massage every Monday with my friend Ingrid, but lots of delicious treats too!
It is called.... being a pain in the neck!
Well, their necks not mine. Heeee! See... from the moment Ingrid rings the bell, I am singing and dancing and won't sit still until they give me a pile of treats to keep me busy.
My mom and Ingrid laugh at me that at 13 1/2 years old, I refuse to stop talking and sit still for my massage unless they bribe me with lamb bones and rawhide ears.
Look at all the yummy treats they bribe me with while I get a massage!
Aren't I a smart puggy?Ingrid says she has never met a doggie like me. All of her patients greet her at the door and then run to their dog beds with their tails wagging waiting for their massages.
They need to talk to me. I can get them that and gourmet treats too. :)
The best part of it being Friday is that Monday is only two days away!
Who says being a senior means you have to slow down? :)

You're a very smart puggy, Emmitt! Wow... how do you rate? This sounds like you get a regular massage every week? What a WONDERFUL life!
ReplyDeleteDott is happy because Grammy told her that "Job" the one that snatched her Dad, is supposed to let him come home this evening, so she is most happily looking forward to THAT!
Grammy has also told us that it is supposed to snow close enough to us to be able to drive up to the mountains and see it, so us Pups are looking forward to that as we've never seen snow before. (Uncle BG and Mama Dott were terribly impressed when they saw it... said it was cold and wet!) And THAT is a problem? We LOVE playing out in the rain! The CC Pups
Wow, treats AND a massage, you have really got it made Emmitt. You will have to teach us the secret of wrapping the humans around your paws!

I had no idea our dear Emmitt was a senior doggie! He's such a puppy at heart. & what a lucky guy, treats and massages? We should all start our weeks off like that. :)

This weekend- i will take naps- cause today we took a long car ride to see my Aunt Linda. It was hours and hours in the car, so not time to take naps.

ReplyDeleteI was thinking about your Ingrid the other night. Our Tommy is starting to slow down a bit at 9. We give him massage all the time, but was wondering what a difference it must be to have a pro working on your pup. Emmitt is a very lucky pup!
