We had the best time at the Peach Festival on Saturday!
It was a bright sunny day filled with fruit, art, shopping and cute dogs!
There was peach filled food everywhere!
Peachy Art!
and of course burgers, pizza, popcorn and more!
and looooook at this cute baby corgi!
Melanie just loved him!
and of course I found a pug!
Look what I got!
and Melanie got this beautiful bowl for her table outside.

Melanie and I met first him in Steamboat and bought his beautiful cement planters there.
When I heard he would be just down the street at the festival, I knew I had to go!

Melanie and I both laughed when she came to pick me up because we put on the same shirt this morning. It was so fun because after 40 years of people asking us if we are twins, no one asked today! I think it was just totally obvious!
What a great day! :)
What fun things did you do this weekend? We would love to hear all about it!
The peach festival looks like heaven! Yumm! What a great way to spend the day!!
ReplyDeleteThat baby Corgi is so cute! My daughter worked at a pet store this summer and they had one there. He was also a doll!

ReplyDeleteThanks Missy for a super peachy Saturday together! the pictures are wonderful :)
ReplyDeleteSeeing the two of you in matching shirts reminded me of my Mom and her twin sister - they did stuff like that all the time - same clothes, shoes, etc!
ReplyDeleteThat is too funny!! :)
ReplyDeleteMy best girlfriend and I do that occasionally too.. but we usually get laughed at. lol
I don't think I have had a peach yet this summer and after seeing all those peaches, I need to change that!
you two are just too cute! yum, peaches are my favorites!! i saw an easy recipe for peach freezer jam and really wanted to make it but our peaches haven't been that great this year.
ReplyDeletewe saw 7 baby corgi's at a recent agility trial...i squealed and ran to them...i just wanted to stay in their pen and play all day!
hugs,
puglette
:o)
ummmm peaches - yummy - you too are so funny with the same shirt. It is obvious!
ReplyDeleteOh that sounds like a blast. We entered my dad's 73 Super Beetle into our local annual car show. It was fun. We also gave out free pop, some early campaigning for John. There were more than 300 cars at the show.
ReplyDeleteI just love peaches. There is a fruit stand close by where I live and they get peaches from the hotter part of Washington state, they are heavenly.
ReplyDeleteMelissa >Is David a giant or are you tiny ???? ha ha
ReplyDeleteIt looks so funny with the little cement plant thing in his hand and you look like a little doll
anyway > This was a great post.

and a cement planter and a purple t shirt AND a sister
OK, I think I got caught up on your blog. That looks like a great journal book and I love the cement planters you and Melanie got at the fair. Sounds like it was a fun weekend!
ReplyDeleteHi Melissa & Emmitt! You always do such fun stuff! That festival looked great and it looks like you and Melanie really enjoyed yourself.
ReplyDeleteThat corgi puppy was cute but not as cute as that pug. I bet Emmitt was a little jealous that he didn't get invited to the festival.
