I am so excited! Melanie just finished her very first crochet project!
A Teddy Bear!
He is so wonderful!
I thought it would be fun to teach Melanie crochet through a fun simple project so we made a Mother Bear Project bear.
Here she is working on him on the Mexican cruise we took in February.
I love how although it is the exact same pattern, everyone's turns out so unique!

Moe likes his new friend!
The timing is perfect to finish a project because this weekend is the Annual Wool Market in Estes Park, CO! I cannot wait to see all of the wonderful wool and yarn!
Melanie and I are headed up there first thing in the morning. I will take lots of pictures for you to see!
What fun things are you doing this weekend? :)
Both you and Melanie are so incredibly giving! Her bear is so cute! As for Moe........... he's a doll!
ReplyDeleteHi Melissa - You and Melanie are so talented! I love the little teddy bear and I checked out the Mother Bear Project. It is so nice of you to make these gifts for children in need. Isn't it amazing how something so small can make a big difference in a child's life? Thank you for caring!
ReplyDeleteStubby xoxo
Awwww that little bear is so cute! I sent away for the pattern months ago and still haven't tried making one. I'm sure mine won't be as cute - it will probably end up with an extra limb or something LOL
ReplyDeleteThank you Missy for teaching me to crochet! you are the best teacher and of course the very BEST sister in the whole world!
ReplyDeleteMoe is so darn cute! Love the bear. This weekend, we're just relaxing (as far as I know).
