My New Favorite Green Tea

I had to share my new favorite green tea and tea maker with you! I found them a couple of weeks ago and I am totally addicted. :)

You know if I am choosing tea over coffee, it must be good!

Genmai Cha is made with popped brown rice and has a wonderful flavor and aroma.

and this handy tea pot steeps the tea perfectly and drains right into your mug filtering the loose leaves. It is so easy and fun to use.
I was thrilled to find that Adaigo Teas has a wonderful starter set that gives you a tea pot, 4 tins of tea,and a beautiful book all for only $19!

Yum! It looks like it is time for me to make another cup!

What is your favorite tea? I would love to hear so I can try it too!

I do not drink tea much at all, but Jeremy drinks it in the morning like I do with coffee and he is a big fan of Earl Grey...I dunno if he has a special brand he likes or not, but he's been asking about tea pots like this and brewing with loose leaves instead of bags....maybe I will look in to this for him - thanks for sharing!

  5. What a fun tea! Popcorn and popped rice in the tea.. LOL! Sounds like something I'd like, too. I do love my simple black teas with a touch of citrus - Earl Gray or Lady Gray. Plus I have a specially imported infusion with pink grapefruit and raspberry I make my uncle mail me from Paris every now and then. Don't know if you can get the stuff elsewhere (This one: http://www.nouvelle-epicerie.fr/catalogint/images/2058.jpg)..

  6. Yes Genmaicha is my and my kids favorite. A faint nutty and slightly sweet flavor that we never need to add sugar.

I love that little starter kit. What a great little gift that would make!

  7. WOW!

Mom says that looks pretty interesting!

She's a hot khoffee kind of mom but she enjoys iced teas too...

Bajas's mom's pinkgrapefruit and raspberry one has her starting to salivate!

  10. Just ordered the set. I have read a few things about the tea pot and have been wanting to give it a try. I hadn't seen the starter set before, just the teapot by itself. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction!

  11. Bad Emmit! Bad! Bad! Mum went to the tea website and ended up spending $32.00 (including shipping) for the sample set and some sample teas not in the set. Mum can't drink coffee any more - she turned 50 and things went south after that. She's not sure why because she loves coffee, it just doesn't like her. So she is into tea in a BIG way. Do they have dog bone flavor?
