A Call for Recipes...

A Call for Your Pug's Favorite Recipes...

Do you have a favorite treat or meal that you make for your dog(s)?

Please help Emmitt do his homework. His job is to find, cook and taste test recipes for his column in the Spring 2009 Newsletter - Emmitt's Kitchen.

If you have any suggestions for him, please post it here or email me.
Emmitt will be so grateful and will send you a thank you gift in the mail. :)

Thank you! Thank you! The pug was starting to spin in circles wondering what to do! :)

  1. This is Otis's favorite summer snack!

Poochie Pops........I like to call them!

    4 cups plain yogurt
    handful strawberries
    2 tablespoons organic honey
    2 tablespoons natural peanut butter
( You may need a little water to thin this down)

    Puree in a food processor
Pour into ice trays and freeze
When they're frozen I like to pop them out of the tray and into a freezer bag

Yum! Perfect on a hot sunny day for Pugs and Bostons!

  13. I found a recipe for pumpkin dog treats and posted about them around october. I'm not sure if I'd really recommend them though because they were way too hard.

Also, I know it's not a recipe but Meiby loves baby carrots as snacks :)

  20. Hi E&M
One of my favorite things to eat is baked sweet potatoes (sliced). yum, yum. My mama also prepares cooked carrots and green beans together- (all mashed up). And I get that for part of my lunch.
I also get a spoon ful of Pina Colada Yogurt- course there is no recipe for that -The yogurt people make it. I don't have any recipes (wish I did though)and I think this is a great idea! Emmitt- you are so smart and toooo cute.
