Happy New Year's Eve!

I want to wish everyone a happy and safe New Year's celebration. It is almost 2008!

Fred and I planned a little vacation months ago to go to California for a few days. I cannot believe it, but it is now the first week in January and we are packing our bags for a little R &R. :)

We are so excited! I am not sure where these funny little owls came from in my imagination, but I made them this weekend from scraps of felt, vintage fabric and some button and beads.

I think they are to keep an eye on Emmitt while we are away.

He will be staying with his cousin corgi, Moe. Oh the trouble these two can get into...

See You Next Year!

  1. Pretty neat owls . . . I would love to get my paws on them, except I would try to bite the eyes off first!

Sounds like Emmitt and Moe will be getting into all sorts of scrapes . . . fun!!

    Have a good vacation.

  2. Those owls are soooooo cute. Mom loves the top one.
You better be careful, when you get back, Emmitt may be lonely. I know I will be when mom goes back to work.

  5. ps...I guess it's a toss up, between dog and art. I wouldn't want to have to chose.
