Happy Friday everyone!

It is me... Archie!

Here I am with my favorite toy...

"Outside" Monkey

I am not a spoiled pug or anything, but I have 2 of my favorite toy in the world.

He was the very first toy momma bought for me right before they picked me up to come home!

I played with him so much that I ripped his face and now he is the outside monkey and I have another intact one that is the "Inside" Monkey.

Oh my gosh, so many things to keep track of around here, but I am not spoiled or anything. :)

I have a fun weekend planned hanging out in the backyard with "Outside" Monkey and my mom as she works on a new collection of Sweater Vests for us all to enjoy!

I am not supposed to tell what the new collection is ... but I think that my love of moving rocks and that my dad's name is Fred may have inspired her. :)

The Muddy Mountain Corgi ~ Cousin Moe gets a Bath!

Hi Everyone!

It is me... Cousin Moe!

I am here today to teach Archie what will happen to him if he plays in the mud.

As you can see...

I had a good time today!

But now I see my momma, Archie's Auntie Melanie, has set up the bath station for me!

Oh Boy!

It is bubble bath time!



I can do with less soap and more towel rubs please! :)

Cousin Moe Moe

Crochet Doll Swap ~ Meet Gertie & Mimi Le Fleur!

What a fun Wednesday!

The mail just came and I am so excited to show you the crochet doll swap my friend Lynne in England and I did!

After making socks together following the same pattern, we thought for the next project, it would be fun to make each other surprise gifts using the same basic doll pattern generously shared by Lion Brand Yarn.

We embellished them any way we wanted and then sent them to each other on the same day.

We were not allowed to share pictures of them with each other before we sent them so that the finished dolls be a surprise when we opened the packages!

I made the doll above named Gertrude ~ Gertie for short!

I had so much fun picking the yarns and watching her come to life!

I made a long pom pom for her hair.


... and I wet felted wool beads for her hands!

I loved seeing her personality pop out as I embroidered her face and made her matching pearl earrings and a heart brooch!

Here is Gertie enjoying her new home across the pond!

She is so lucky to be able to spend time with Lynne in her kitchen!

Just as I was reading Lynne's email that Gertie arrived, my doorbell rang and my package arrived carrying ...

Mimi Le Fleur!

Oooo La La!

She is perfect!

I love how we both made heart shapes for mouths!

and look at her fabulous long black hair!

and jewelry!

every detail made me smile!

She is very comfortable eating chocolate croissants and drinking rich creamy coffee in my office all day!

I love how both dolls started from the same fun doll pattern and turned out so wonderfully different yet the same!

I just sent another package to Lynne this morning transporting the pets we just crocheted for each doll.

This fun bathroom set and tissue holder were purchased as a housewarming gift by one of our customers and the kind new home owner sent us this photo from her new pug bathroom!

Theo the beagle loves his new beagle dog bed!

His mom, Sharon S., snapped this photo with her phone as soon as she took it out of the box!

I think Theo knows it was made with love just for him!

Friday Funnies ~ Archie the Slave Driver

Happy Friday!

It is me...

Archie!

I am a very lucky puggy, because both of my pawrents work from home!

That means I get to go to work with them everyday, or said another way...

They stay home and work with me!

Today, I am going to snoopervise my mom crocheting sweater vests.

The faster she crochets, the faster she gets to come and play with me.

So I am keeping her productivity up by reminding her how cute I am while I sit at her feet ~ staring at her. :)

Here I am all perky and ready to start our work day!

Lunch with the Tooth Fairy...

Happy Wednesday Everyone!

It is me...

Archie!

Today I woke up with a little more room in my head than usual! :)

I found this next to my favorite tug toy...

A Baby Tooth!

... and it shaped like a heart!

I put a call into the tooth fairy this morning to bring extra mini meatloaves for lunch in exchange for my teethie!

The line was busy... but I left her a message!

Hopefully she will bring extra ketchup and a side of my favorite little roasted potatoes.
