Fun Dog Treat Recipe ~ Corn Dogs

Hi everyone!

Happy Thursday!

Cousin Moe and I are so excited to bring you a new family favorite recipe today!

Corn Dogs

I N G R E D I E N T S:

1 Hot dog
Corn muffin mix
1 egg
1/3 cup milk
2 tablespoons oil or melted butter

I N S T R U C T I O N S:

Preheat oven to 400 degrees.Cut hot dog into 12 discs and set aside.
Mix all ingredients in large mixing bowl.
Lightly grease your mini muffin pan.
Pour batter into muffin pan filling 3/4 and drop in hot dog piece in each cup.
Bake 10 minutes or until golden brown.
Makes 12 corn dogs.

Corgi cousin Moe loved the corn dogs!

He gave it a 4 Paws (and two big corgi ears) Up!

Yummy!

Nom! Nom! Nom!

Little Archie cannot wait to try his very first corn dog too!

Angel Emmitt is showing him around the kitchen right now as we speak. ;)

New Terrariums ~ March 2011

Happy Wednesday everyone!

There are so many fun things happening around here!

Spring has sprung, and I found a great way to have a little tiny green lawn in my kitchen without having to mow it! :)

I made a condo of moss terrariums!

Tee hee!

They are soooo easy to make and take care of!

The first thing I did was find this cool vintage spice rack on Etsy.

Any glass jar with a lid will do!

You do not even need a lid, but it does help to keep the moisture in so you only have to lightly mist it with water once every couple of months or when it feels dry to the touch.

Next, I filled each jar with a few small rocks for drainage and some dirt.

Then I gently pushed in the pillow moss & clay mushrooms I purchased from my favorite plant store on Etsy... Teresa's Plants & More

I put it in my kitchen near the window as they love indirect light.

I placed 3 wooden bird ornaments on top of the spice rack for added fun and it is done!

I just love it and it only took a few minutes to make and even less time to up keep!

Now that is my kind of garden! :)

Fred is planning to plant tomatoes, carrots, cucumbers and pumpkins this year in his real garden.

Archie's First Snow

Gooooooood Morning Everyone!

It is ME!

Thank you all for welcoming me home!

It is so wonderful to meet all of you!

This morning we woke up to this really neat fluffy stuff on the ground!

My momma said it is called snow and it is COLD on puppy tummies and feeties.

So she bundled me up...

Gave me a hug...

and put me in the snow!

oh my gosh!

It is cold on my little feeties!

There... I peed!

Can we go inside now?

Thank you momma!

What an exciting adventure and it is not even 9am!

Welcome Home Archie!

Good Morning Everyone!

Archie is home!

We had a magical day yesterday bringing him home.

The drive was 13 hours total (6.5 hours each way) to our wonderful breeders, Kim & Kriss at Tug at YurHart , but it felt like we were riding on a cloud.

The photo above of baby Archie was the very first I took!

He is 8 weeks old and weighs about 4.5 lbs. :)

The most amazing thing happened when we first met.

He ran thru his doggy door, sat at my feet, threw back his head and sang just like Emmitt.

I know that was emmitt giving me a huge happy hug and kiss!

I did not realize we got a video of it until this morning...

I held him the whole way home on my lap...

While he slept and slept and slept!

Meet Archie!

Happy Saturday everyone!

Angel Emmitt has been looking for the perfect pug puppy for us to bring home to LOVE.

Today is the Day!

Angel Emmitt, Fred and I are on our way right now to pick him up on the Western Slope of Colorado in Austin, CO.

We cannot wait to meet his wonderful breeder, Kimberly at Tug At YurHart.

The photos above are of Archie when he was only 5.5 weeks old!

That is the exact age we met Emmitt!

Here is a wonderful movie she made for us when he was 6.5 weeks old.




He is 8 weeks old today and we cannot wait to celebrate the day with him and bring him home!

Angel Emmitt is so excited to welcome this new little soul into our lives!

I cannot wait for you to meet him too!
