New ID Badge Reels on PugNotes.com

Happy Wednesday everyone!

R-Chee & I are so excited to announce more new items added to our product line that we think you will enjoy. :)

Today, R-Chee wants to show you his new ID Badge Reel that you can get in any of my pug art or dog art designs!

It has a wonderful easy to use design that keeps your ID Badge safely showing front & center with your favorite pug painting to make you smile all day long!

I really like the badge is kept out of the way as it keeps your ID Badge front & center without having to wear it around your neck.

I always get things hanging around my neck caught & wind up nearly choking myself trying to get untangled!

This retractable design allows the person reading your card to bring it close to them to read, but not get too close to you to do it. :)

You can now get all of the details and order from the ID Badge Reels page on my website!

In other FUN news on PugNotes.com, I also reorganized the navigation bar on the left hand side of the page to make all of the products easier to see & find.

There are new categories for each line and each line is now listed in alphabetical order.

Please contact us anytime if you have any questions at all!

We are so excited about the new ID Badge Reels and the other new products we will show you this week!

New Freeform Crochet Fiber Vessel

Happy Monday everyone!

I am so excited to show you the new fiber vessel I just crocheted!

I love making these vessels with my Lion Brand Amazing Yarn and wool roving crocheted freeform with a simple single crochet stitch in the round.

It is so FUN sometimes not to follow a pattern but to make something as you go and see what magic appears in front of you when you are done!

I was not sure where I would put it when it was done and then I put it on my gladdy tatty quilt and it instantly found its new home!

I laughed at how it matched the new Tunisian Crochet Pug Doll I just made up to celebrate Archie's 2nd birthday!

Ha!

I always say when creating things from your heart, just stop and listen to what it says to choose.

It it feels good to work with it, then that is the one to pick!

I love how they match, and I did not even see it until I started looking for a FUN place to put it!

Yippeeee!

Life is Art... Art is Life!

This is going to be a very FUN week!

I have been busy creating new products for you to enjoy on PugNotes.com and I will feature a new one everyday this week for you to see!

Friday Funnies ~ Duck Duck Goose (Poop)!

Happy Friday everyone!

It is me...
R-Chee!

I just learned a new game that is both FUN & Delicious!

You must keep it a secret and not tell your pawrents!

I learned quickly that mine do not like me playing it and I would not want you to get in trubble too!

It is called Duck Duck Goose Poop!

What you do is look for the geese flocks flying over head or resting on the ground and hunt for the green blobs they leave behind just like the bunnies do!

Turns out their little gifts are plentiful and deeeelicious!

My Momma just pulled me away and said "Ewwwww R-Chee" to me in her most disappointed voice when she found me doing this.

I hate to disappoint her, so I try to do it when she cannot see me!

Unfortunately for me...

I think she always knows what I am doing so I am getting a bath and a tooth brushin' today before I can kiss her face which is my 2nd favorite thing to do right behind playing Duck Duck Goose Poop!

Hahahahaha!

What are you up to this weekend?

Please leave me a note and let me know!

I cannot wait to hear all about it!

New Door Mats ~ Now Available with my Pug & Dog Art

Happy Wednesday everyone!

R-Chee & I are so excited to announce 5 new items added to our product line that we will feature for you over the next few days. :)

Today, R-Chee wants to show you his new door mat that you can get in any of my pug art or dog art designs!

It is 18 x 24 and is perfect for any door indoors or out!

He recommends that if you put it outside that you put it in a protected area to prevent it from losing its bright colors over time. :)

He decided to put his in-front of his doggie door.

He loves it!

As soon as I put it down he stomped his little pug toes on it with glee to show me how much he likes it!

It even has a industrial rubber back so it will not slide from under your feet!

You can now get all of the details and order from the Door Mats page on my website!

Please contact us anytime if you have any questions at all!

We are so excited about the new door mats and the other new products we will show you this and next week!

Tunisian Crochet - Ollie the Parrotlet Doll

Happy Monday everyone!

I am so excited to show you the new Tunisian Crochet project I just did!

I made him up for a special Valentine's Day gift for Melanie!

It was so FUN to create from the top of his head down to his cute little bendable toes!

I wrapped wool yarn around floral wire to create his feet so that they would bend and hold the weight of the doll while standing.

... and I added needle felting accents to his forehead, eyebrows and cheeks to create his texture and expressions.

His body was done with the Tunisian crochet - simple stitch
I love the woven like fabric it creates!

... and his wings were created in single crochet with my regular crochet hook. :)

I gave him to Melly on Valentine's Day and she just loved him!

I think the hardest thing about making my gifts is keeping them a secret! :)

I kept wanting to send Melly photos of him while I was making him!

I was pretty proud of myself for keeping him a surprise!

Tee Hee!

Did you make any gifts, either food or crafty items for gifts this year?

Please leave me a note and tell me all about them!

I am excited to hear what you created!

PostCard Book 2 ~ Ooodles of Doodling FUN!

Happy Monday everyone!

I had so much FUN this weekend making a book out of the regular old postcards I got in the mail from companies advertising their services and upcoming events.

I love to save ones that are different sizes to use for a rainy day.

I learned how to make these books from the super talented Carla Sonheim in the art retreat Melanie and I took last last Fall by Art Camp for Women.

Here is Melanie's book, and here is mine from our class.

She also has the complete drawing and book project instructions in her new gorgeous book, Drawing & Painting Imaginary Animals.

Melanie and I loved making these books so much that I have been just waiting for a quiet weekend to sit down and make another one!

These animals and books are so magical because you never know what you are going to see, make & create on every page!

I was even surprised that this book evolved to be vertical in orientation instead of horizontal although the pages do whimsically spin from vertical to horizontal within the book too!

You do not have to buy any expensive art materials to make these.

As I described above, the postcards were free in the mail, and I just used some of my gesso, kid's dry watercolors, a white paint marker, colored pencils and a black sharpie marker to make all of these amazing creatures.

The black tape I used was actually just regular old electrical tape I found in Fred's tool box!

How fun is that?

The whole book has a wonderful flow and unfolded in the photos series documented for you below.

What a FUN way to spend the weekend!
I felt like a little kid again.

R-Chee slept on my feet while I colored. :)

Please let me know if you make one of these books too!

I would LOVE to see!
